To that end, our staff are all local residents who know the local traditions and are familiar with the Paignton, Devon Churches and Clergy. Mark Carr
Funeral Director
Mark has been with Maunders Funeral Services since 2012 having previously worked as a mechanic, shop fitter and was also in the Royal Army Ordinance Corp.
Mark enjoys listening and giving the family what there are looking for in a funeral ans is always willing to help others out if possible.
When not working for Maunders Funeral Services he works for a charity call BirdLine Uk Parrot Rescue.
He likes to take his Parrots around nursing homes and see all the people’s faces light up when they see the different colour and sizes of birds.
Jenny Brennand
Funeral Director
Jenny has been with Maunders Funeral Services since 2015 having previously worked in branch banking for three years. In 1985 she returned to the workplace after looking after her daughter. She started working as a part time receptionist and book keeper for a funeral directors in Sheffield. Since then she has worked for various funeral directors working her way up to Funeral Director.
She says “For many years I combined my work with funerals with being a Guide Guider and guide commissioner. I enjoy the job satisfaction when a family just say thank you for a job well done.”
She enjoys sewing and baking. She is also very proud that she received the area prize and highest pass mark for the NAFD Diploma in the Yorkshire Region in April 1992. This also meant that she was the first woman in Sheffield to gain this qualification.
