Situated in Well Street on the edge of the Victorian Paignton Parish church yard, Mauders Funeral Service was originally a builder’s yard, but back in the early 1900s it officially became titled ‘Maunders builders, funerals & coffin makers’ and began to establish a lasting reputation caring for local families.
The team at our Paignton funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have our own service venue on-site.
Here at Maunders Funeral Service we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.

My name is Mark Carr, I started work for Funeral Partners in 2014. I enjoy my work because I’m giving the family’s what they would like for a service.
My hobbies are motorbike, paddle boarding and when I’m not working for Funeral Partners, I work for a charity rescuing parrots called Birdline Parrot Rescue. I have done this for about 20 years.
We take pride in everything we do. Our aim is that everyone who works for Funeral Partners shares our values.
Our business exists to help the bereaved to make fitting arrangements for their loved one’s last journey and to provide lasting memories for family and friends.
