Our Funeral Director, Mark Carr and Funeral Service Operative, Josh Elston, set out on Saturday 3rd September along with 542 other paddle boarders, raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Torbay.
Their aim was to set a new world record for the most paddle boards on the water at one time, 1,000. Sadly, weather conditions hampered their attempt, with a total of 544 able to join the Great Big Paddle Parade in Torbay.
The event entry cost of £15 raised thousands of pounds, vital to the running of the RNLI on the Torbay coastline. As well as sharing safety information SUP Safe
